April Monthly Round-Up!
Well, isn't it crazy that April is over and done with?! Our second month back and it has absolutely flown! Each month I'll be doing a monthly round-up of our highs and lows, with some exciting new updates of what's to come. So, here we go! Our first monthly round up of 2025!
I turned 30 in April, so this was quite a jam packed few weeks!
1. I Turned the Big 30!
Although I still feel like I'm 20 years old, I turned 30 in April and I still can't quite believe it! I'm an actual, full-blown adult? How? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? I was actually working the day of at my full-time job, however they made it extra special, I was surprised with a birthday cake and then chased around by a man-sized Chucky which was absolutely terrifying!
I was so worried about hitting 30, a few meltdowns were definitely had on the run up! But you know what? 30 is actually great so far!
2. A Belated Birthday Trip to York!
Because I was working on my Birthday, my lovely Boyfriend surprised me with a little getaway to one of my favourite cities, York! We had the loveliest time and ate a lot of incredible food, strolled around the spooky shops in The Shambles (and also dreamed of having my own shop there one day!) - it was well needed and the perfect city break!
3. Packed Up a lot of your Lovely Orders!
I still find it mind-blowing that so many of you that shopped with us years ago are still returning, and honestly it warms my heart! Thank you ever-so much for all of your lovely orders, it seriously means the world! These orders were also the final orders with our old packaging!
4. Visited Home a LOT!
I needed a re-fresh a few years ago, which lead to me leaving Liverpool. Not because I wanted to be away from the City, because I absolutely did not! I just needed to get away for a little while and have a fresh start. But don't be fooled, I WILL be returning! We visited a lot in April, and ate a lot of AMAZING food from the huge selection of independent restaurant's we have in Liverpool! (If you haven't tried Polpetta in the Baltic yet, PLEASE do, that Lasagne and Chicken Alfredo sub live in my mind rent free every minute of every day!) Many Days/Evenings were sat chilling on Lark Lane whilst enjoying a Peach Jubel! Fellow Scousers know, a Sunny evening on Lark Lane after a walk around Sefton Park is absolute bliss.
5. We Said Goodbye to our Old Packaging!
Our packaging just wasn't hitting it anymore, it felt flat, boring and not completely up to scratch with the vibe I want for Nox Caelo! So after a long while doodling and editing, we have a fancy new logo (which I'm super proud of!) and FANCY new packaging which will be revealed very, very soon! Exciting!
6. I Became a Kindle Girly and Read so many Books!
Okay so I say 'SO MANY BOOKS' it was five. But five is a lot of books for me! I've absolutely loved my little reading journey so far, I have music and I have my Motorbike but there's nothing quite as relaxing as getting home, comfy clothes on and loosing yourself in a Fantasy Book! I'm absolutely loving it.
Fourth Wing, Fearless and Haunting Adeline were my top reads of April! Book Recommendations are always welcome and encouraged here!
So that was our April Monthly Round Up! It was a little late, but so much as been going on lately. April was a lovely month, probably my favourite out of the year so far, and enjoying the sun whilst visiting home and cracking on with reviving Nox Caelo has honestly healed a little bit of my heart.
